December 2022 Freeze Tips

To all customers on our water system.  Just a few tips prepare before freezing temps.

If you are going out of town please cut off your water and drain pipes.

If you are home please keep all areas of your house heated and open cabinet doors under sink in kitchen and bathrooms.  Please-Please insulate all outside pipes and let the inside faucet furtherest from your water meter drip a small (size of lead in a pencil) steady stream.  Only one faucet needs to drip.  Make sure water meter box is closed and only use your cut-off valve on your side of meter.  If you don't have a cut off valve you need to install one within the next few days.
